WARNING: Today’s Sunday Showstopper Snippet will most certainly bring a smile to the face of anyone going through the ‘holiday blues!’ If this showstopper doesn’t shake your blues away, NOTHING will!
In 2016, the classic 1942 Bing Crosby and Fred Astaire masterpiece, HOLIDAY INN, featuring some of Irving Berlin’s greatest hits, and re-mastered and twisted a bit for live theatre, opened on Broadway. A true breath of fresh air, the original Broadway production starred Bryce Pinkham (of “Gentleman’s Guide” fame), Corbin Bleu (2012 “Godspell” revival), Lora Lee Gayer (2011 “Follies” revival), and HILARIOUS Broadway newcomer, Megan Lawrence.
This happy-tappy-clappy number features Bryce and Megan, and the brilliantly creative choreography of Tony-nominated Denis Jones. The tapping jump rope section is mind-bogglingly good!
