Sunday Showstopper HeadingMerry Christmas (almost)!!

Today’s Sunday Showstopper Snippet is dedicated to those of you who wait until the very last minute to do your shopping.

Most recently revived in 2016, SHE LOVES ME is a wonderful musical that was adapted from a 1937 play by Hungarian playwright, Miklos Laszlo (who is actually honored as a character in the musical!). It’s in the same ‘adaptation’ group as the films, ‘The Shop Around the Corner,’ ‘In the Good Old Summertime,’ and, one of my favorites, Tom Hanks’ and Meg Ryan’s “You’ve Got Mail.” If you’ve seen any of those movies, you’ll know the gist of this wonderfully entertaining musical.

This scene takes place, as most of the scenes do, in Maraczek’s Parfumerie, and gives an entire new spin on the Twelve Days of Christmas!  The incredible cast, and this scene, included Tony Award winning Laura Benanti (Gypsy, Women On The Verge), Tony nominee Zachary Levi (Chuck,Tangled), and Tony Award winner Jane Krakowski (Nine, 30 Rock ).

Enjoy, and, next year, PLAN AHEAD!
